The Finance team is one of the core functions of the business and gets involved in all aspects of what makes Sky an interesting and exciting place to work. It’s not just about numbers but the key commercial decisions that make Sky a fast-paced and innovative company.

Throughout the week long work experience, you’ll learn about many aspects of the business and work on a collaborative project that demonstrates how Finance operates and works with other teams across Sky.

The Finance team work across all areas of the business and therefore see the wide variety of functions that helps the organisation continually expand and excel, from the costs and benefits of our marketing campaigns to how we keep our customers happy with great content and customer service.

What will I be doing?

Working in a team with other work experience students, you will undertake a project that will challenge and expand your analytical and commercial knowledge. The project will allow you to learn about Sky as well as Finance and will provide the opportunity to present to senior members of our Finance team.

You will be guided by Finance staff throughout the process and will also have opportunities for mentoring sessions which will allow you to ask questions and determine whether a career in Finance is right for you.
