Who are PPA?

The PPA has been synonymous with magazines for over 100 years but today our membership is made up of modern media businesses carving out a new future defined by trusted, quality content. We represent and support almost 250 companies, ranging from consumer magazine publishers to business-to-business data and information providers, customer magazine publishers and smaller independents.

New Talent Awards

Our New Talent Awards focus on the rising talent in the magazine media industry – and our Student of the Year Award is open to current journalism students or recent graduates who are able to submit three pieces of original work which can be a feature or content for a website: editorial; video or podcast, produced between 1 August 2017 and 31 August 2018 of which at least one piece must be coursework.

  • You should also include a 200-word supporting statement from your course leader.

Who should apply?

Current journalism students or recent graduates who are able to submit three pieces of original work which can be a feature or content for a website: editorial; video or podcast, produced between 1 August 2017 and 31 August 2018 of which at least one piece must be coursework.

The closing date for all applications is Friday January 25. It’s also FREE TO ENTER Student of the Year.
