Making sure that people know about Sky’s amazing products and services is the job of our Marketing team, and to be able to do that effectively not only are they experts in Sky, they know everything about our customers too.

At Sky, Marketing is made up of a number of areas.

  • Product Management delivers the latest cutting-edge products and services that keep Sky ahead of the competition, whether that’s TV, broadband, mobile or other services.
  • Brand Marketing keeps the public aware of Sky’s products and services– whether it’s the latest innovations in TV technology such as Sky Q, the next generation box, new shows, including Sky Original productions, or even products like NOW TV.
  • Trading deals directly with our customers, either through online or direct marketing channels in order to win new business and keep the customers we have.
  • Research team which provides the data, analysis and insight that highlights marketing opportunities and drives our overall strategy.

If you’d like to find out more about Marketing and the roles available within the sector, then why not come and join us for work experience?

We’ve got places for people aged 17 and over, across a wide range of teams – everything from our social media, research and planning teams through to the teams who work on specific products such as box sets or movies.

What will I be doing?

As part of work experience at Sky, you will be placed into one of these teams meaning that you will get the chance to develop some specific skills. You’ll also get the opportunity to gain insight into other areas through short introductions.

All our opportunities are unwaged but we pay £15 a day expenses which you can claim after you’ve completed your week.
