It’s summah-time. So that means no studying, no exams, no stress and nothing but the blissful echo of freedom, as the soundtrack to your life for the next few weeks.

You can see it now; a vast expanse of BBQs, beer gardens and (hopefully) balmy evenings stretching out before your eyes. Glorious. But is that mental picture dotted with any productive activities? Any work experience placements lined up? No?

Well don’t worry, we’ve done the hard bit for you and have rounded up our pick of *excellent* placements, apprenticeships and internships so you can  get your summer sorted out, pronto.

We’ll be updating this feature regularly, so if you can’t spot anything that takes your fancy right now, don’t abandon us. We’ll be getting bigger and better.

Here’s what we’ve got on offer at the mo…

Work Experience

What is it?

Global advertising company VCCP need logical, numerical thinkers for their business, so they’re running a Stat School to attract these types of thinkers. (We wrote about the importance of not pigeon-holing yourself as a logical thinker if you fancy a creative career).

The stat school is a week long in September and will include insight into the ways that data drives the ad industry, as well as networking opportunities with leading ad figures.

How do I get it?

VCCP don’t want just a normal CV – nuh-uh. They also want some imaginative answers to the following questions:

- If you were a biscuit, what type would you be?
- How would you describe data to someone who has never heard the term?
- Describe yourself to us in numbers.
Get thinking…
