It’s been nearly three months since we launched GoThinkBig, our one-stop shop for work opportunities and career advice for young people trying to get on the first steps of the career ladder. We launched the site with three brilliant regular bloggers – The Eternal Intern (Scott Bryan who, within weeks of starting his hilarious, insightful blog, was an intern no more and now works full-time at The Times), The Prudent Student (Louise Jones, who’s been awfully candid about the rollercoaster of emotions she’s experienced during her first term at uni in Bournemouth) and The Hipster Tipster (Stevie Martin, who delivers money-saving tips in a far more entertaining manner than that Martin Lewis bloke, and is now, as of this week, a full-time Staff Writer at GoThinkBig).

We’ve found that these blogs, with their blend of advice and humour, are some of the most popular features on the site, and so we want more. And that’s where you come in.

If you’re a fantastic, funny writer who could commit to writing a weekly post for GoThinkBig, then we want to hear from you.

Your blog should be themed around a particular angle or come from a specific point of view, just like the ones we currently run – for example, perhaps you’re a young single mum who’s desperately trying to balance parenting with getting on the career ladder, or an unemployed graduate who’s sick of living at home, or an aspiring entrepreneur trying to make their fortune… anything like that is right up our street, as long as it’s packed with funny anecdotes, emotional insight and useful advice. The most important thing is, you will have enough original ideas to write for us every week.  Make us laugh, make us cry, make us, er, poke ourselves in the eye (because we’re so jealous of how great you are, yeah?).

If you think you’ve got what it takes and have the time to write a weekly blog, read on! Good luck!
