It’s pretty widely known that we need more women in tech. Currently, just 14.4% of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) jobs in the UK are held by women. More women in the technology industry could mean a reduction in the gender pay gap, better representation and better tech products for everyone.

So we grabbed our 360 degree camera and sat down with Think Big Alumni and Stemettes Founder Anne-Marie Imafidon, O2 Think Big Project Leaders Sharon Oh and Dami Fasoyiro, and the founders of Think Big TechStars, O2 and Telefonica employees Anne Morley and Lora Mihova to talk about women in tech, and how we can make a difference.

Take a look below as we discuss the state of gender equality in tech today, what needs to change, and careers advice and resources for aspiring tech superstars.

Pssst… To get fully immersed in the discussion, watch the video in 360 degrees! You can do this using a VR headset or Google Cardboard, moving your mobile to look around as the video plays, or by dragging and dropping the video to look around the table as the discussion gets going!
